Jaxon's 12th and Avery's 4th Birthday
Jaxon and Avery's birthday's are two day apart. So, in the past we have celebrated them together. Jaxon wanted a Star Wars Lego and Avery wanted a new bike. We had a family party. My parents were in town from California. We invited Marcus and Natalie and Chad, Megan, and the kids. Jaxon wanted his favorited Ice Cream Cupcake and Avery wanted a Princess Cake. My mom bought a wand, crown, and cupcake decorations for the girls to make there own cake (if you couldn't tell). After singing to Avery, she took a bite out of the cake she made. It was too funny. Everyone opted to eat the cupcakes instead of the cake. Wise choice! After the party was over Avery and Brynn decorated the cake even more, if that was possible. It was a fun day. Jaxon also received the Priesthood that day. I really can't believe that he is old enough. The bishop told us that he was the best prepared 12 year old he has interviewed. He is such a great and special kid. Love him so much!!!

Jaxon's 6th Grad Program
Jaxon loves programs, can't you tell? He has never enjoyed school programs, or church for that matter. He has missed the last two school programs because we have been out of town. He was hoping to not have to attend this one also. But, Russ and Jaxon didn't leave to go to Grandma Wilding's until that night. Darn it! He made it through and did a great job! Still can't believe he is in the 6th grade. Really, where has the time gone?

Avery Lost her 1st Tooth
Avery lost her first tooth. I think it was sum what loose. I don't think that it was completely ready to come out quite yet though. She was opening a bag of candy with her teeth and out flies a tooth. sShe was excited and scared. She put her tooth under her pillow. The tooth fairy forgot to come the first night. She felt super bad! The next night she luckily remembered and brought her a Polly Pocket. Avery was so happy. She still doesn't have a new tooth in it's place yet. That's why I am thinking it wasn't ready to come out yet.

Wedding Dress
My girls have been begging me to show them my wedding dress. I finally got it out. Then they wanted to play dress up. Of course, I let them. They loved it so much, they keep asking for me to get it out again. Precious!!!

Valentine's Day 2012
On Valentine's Day I made the kids heart-shaped pancakes for breakfast. I volunteered in Brynn's class to help out with her party. I was in charge of the craft. Luckily all went well with that except for the glue not drying fast enough. Oh, well! Avery went to Joy School and had a party also. Jaxon decorated a Valentine's box for his party. Celtics, of course. That night it is tradition to have a heart-shaped pizza and eat it on my Grandma Beeson's red dishes she gave me. Russ made me the cutest poster made out of my favorite Utah Truffle Bars. Oh, and the picture of the drawing on my pantry door, that would be my creative three year old (Avery). I wasn't that upset only because I was going to be painting the door anyways. I love when my kids first start drawing pictures of people. The large headed stick figures are the absolute best!

Winter 2012
We didn't have a lot of snow this year. The times we did the kids loved to go out and play in it. I put colored water in spray bottles and the kids love to make snowmen and forts and color them. So during the winter it is sometimes to cold to play outside so the kids have to find ways to have fun inside. Like, sucking sugar through a straw, making snowflakes, and playing guitar and dancing. You would be surprised how creative these kids can get. One day they poured powdered sugar all over the kitchen floor and made snow angels in it. I did take video of that but no pictures. Just so you know powdered sugar is super hard to wash up off the floor. It took me days to finally feel the the floor wasn't still anymore. As long as they had fun right? That's what I keep telling myself.
