International Dance Festival
This summer we took the kids to Bountiful's International Dance Festival. I try to take the kids every year. This year Jaxon was at Scout Camp, so he wasn't able to go. They always have face painting, which my kids love. They also have free crafts and yummy gelato. Then we will watch the dancers for as long as the kids will last. Which is not very long. It is really neat to see all the different dances and outfits each of the countries have.

Rec Center
We spent most of our days at the Rec Center. We usually would go around 5:00. It seemed to be less crowded around that time and it was still plenty hot. I would pack dinner for the kids and we would just have a picnic on the grass or on the chairs. The kids have really improved on there swimming skills. This year was actually quite enjoyable for me because I could just sit on the side and "get my tan on", while watching the kids. Jaxon does not love to go to swimming at the Rec Center so he would play basketball with Russ. After swimming I would usually let the kids play on the rock wall for a bit. One day we took some friends with us. The kids really enjoyed that!

Farmington Station
My friend Debbi and I took the kids to Farmington Station this summer. We first stopped at Harmons and got the kids a Gelato. Then we headed over to see the fountains and play on the playground. Another fun day with friends!

Chinese Camp
Russ took Brynn to Chinese Camp at UVSC in Provo. It was two days. They taught both the parents and the children Chinese. They also ate lunch. I am glad that they got to spend some time together.

Gateway
I took the kids this summer to the Gateway to run through the fountains.I try and do this at least once a summer. I think that they had more fun trying to get the gumball out of the machines. It was such a hot day that they did not last as long as I had hoped. Better luck next year.

Crafts
My girls love to make crafts. So we headed to Hobby Lobby to pick out some crafts. They chose to make tie dye t-shirts and decorate bags with fabric paint. The girls love to rummage through my crafting closet. Let's just say that I have given up keeping it organized and nothing is "Mine" anymore. This is what I asked for: daughters to craft with. And I got them. I love there creativity! They amaze me every time they create!

Cousin Sleepover
My girls love to have there cousins sleepover! It seems that they never get enough sleep, but they sure do have lots of fun and memories. We are glad to have cousins that live so close!
