Trunk or Treating

Our Jack-o-lantern pizza we made

This year for Halloween our Ward did something different. We had a Trunk or Treat at our church. I know we are behind with the times but, better let then never. They weather was a little rainy but nothing like what was to come. The kids and I arrived at the church and decorated our trunk. Then my neighbor Zoe took my kids around to the trunks while I handed out candy. Russ stayed home with Wyatt because he was asleep. Jaxon was dressed as a scary skeleton, Brynn was Supergirl, Avery was Batgirl, and Wyatt was our Skunk. The kids got plenty of candy so I thought we wouldn't have to go around the neighborhood later since it was down pouring with rain. Oh no, the kids still wanted to go even though it was raining. So we did and we were drenched. We went around the block then stopped at Dave's house for Hot Dogs, Hot Chocolate, Scones, and a warm fire. Then headed home. All the kids wanted to get in a warm bath so they did and then I put them to bed around 7:30. Awesome, until Brynn woke up saying her stomach hurt and she needed a bowl. I thought here we go, but I think she was just trying to find a excuse to sleep by me. I guess that is better than cleaning up throw up right? Jaxon wanted to go back to Daves house with Russ so I let him. Everyone said that it stopped raining and ended up being a great night. The kids got plenty of candy and loved every rainy minute of trick or treating!

So here's the stats on Wyatt's 9 month Appointment: He is 24lbs, and is in 97-98% for height and weight and head size. He is definitely a Wilding! Wyatt pulled himself up for the 1st time on Sunday and has now accomplished climbing the stairs. I thought I was busy before, now is were the real work begins. I won't be able to get anything done in fear of him falling down the stairs. It's just a phase right? This to shall pass!
