California
Russ had a business trip in California so we tagged along. We stayed the first night in Reno. My parents met us there and traded cars so Russ could head on down to Concord. The next day my parents drove us to there town Susanville, CA. During our stay we went on a few walking trails, played basketball at the church, made many trips to "All a Daughter" or the Dollar Store, went to the movies and took Jaxon out of a date. The kids had a great time. I am sure that may parents are glad to have there silence back though. The drive was very long thanks to a one year who will remain nameless. One the way home we stopped at a bizarre place in Imlay, NV called Thunder Mountain. Basically it is a house made out of supposed "White Man's Junk". The kids were a little frightened but we needed to get out of the car for a little while. Then off to Elko to visit with Ben and Nan. It was fun to finally see there home. They were so nice and fed us. It was also great to break up the long trek home! Thanks Russ for sacrificing a quick and quiet plane ride to be with your family. That's why I am not bitter that you got to go to the ocean and enjoy the 70+ weather.

Love the pictures, and I really liked your nickname for All a Dollar. Is that because your girls like to go there, or is it because they call it that? Also, the white man's junk house frightened me a little, and I was only looking at the photo :)
