First Day of School 2011

The kids started school on August 25th, 2011. It is always bittersweet. I love to get back into a routine of some sort, but then the soccer, dance, back to school nights, and driving everyone to these things start. It is good though! I wouldn't have it any other way. Brynn actually only went the first day of school for 1 hour then didn't go back until the following week. That is why she has to first day of school pictures. The kids are getting so big. I really can't believe my Jaxon is in the 6th grade and my little Brynn is in Kindergarten. I have thought of this day many times because this is the only time when Jaxon will be in the same school as the other kids. I am so glad he is there with Brynn. He picks Brynn up from her class everyday and walk her down to the meeting spot for carpool. I think I would be a nervous wreck if he wasn't there to help her. I have been able to volunteer in Brynn's Classroom on Wednesday's. I love being able to go and see what she is learning. We also have had the opportunity to help out the Kindergartner's at lunchtime. I am glad to see that the kids are improving at opening there own milk and getting through the lunch line without spilling. That was another one of my fears for Brynn. She loves school lunch and Jaxon can't stand it. So, this year no school lunch for Jaxon. It has been two months since the kids have been in school and everything is going well, so far! Brynn even got to celebrate her birthday again at school. She also lost her 5th tooth at school.  Avery has also started Joy School. She has waited for this day since Brynn went to Joy School. She absolutely loves it. I love it also!!!
