We headed to Island Park on Friday night. We planned on camping that night but plans got changed and so we stayed at the Ashton Inn. The next day we headed off to find a campground and we found one this time. It was a beautiful spot minus the mosquito's. Then we headed towards Mesa Falls. We had a great time at the falls and looking around the gift store. After that we went and set up our camp because we knew that we wouldn't be back until late that night and did not want to set up camp in the dark. The kids enjoyed playing in the river next to our campsite. After eating lunch we drove into Yellowstone. We cover quite a bit of Yellowstone in the time that we had. We got to see lots of geyser's, buffalo, moose, and elk. The kids loved to ride in there cousins car. They had alot of fun together. After waiting to see Old Faithful go off we headed back to our campsite. We were exhausted! Wyatt decided he wasn't going to sleep in the tent so mom and Wyatt slept in the car. I really don't know if I slept at all that night. Anyway, the next morning we ate breakfast then cleaned up camp. We then headed towards home. We stopped at Aunt Linda and Uncle Joe's house before heading home. We got to visit with Russ' cousins witch was nice. We love visiting with the Meservy's. After visiting we headed back to Utah. Overall it was a great trip. It was alot of driving a short time but it was worth it to be with our family. We wish Chad, Megan, and the girls could of made it. Maybe next year, right? Fun times with the Wilding's, Laubs, and Armitage's!
