Camp Cooks

Russ and I got called to be Camp Cooks for the Young Men Priesthood Encampment. I personally was not that thrilled about it but, I am so glad that I was able to be a part of this amazing camp. My parents were kind enough to take a week off of work to watch my kiddos. What a blessing! Also, we were able to stay in a nearby cabin that a sweet family let us use. No Camping in a tent. This was looking better already. I can't believe the work that everyone put into this camp. From the kitchen setup to the activities that were available for the boys. I have never seen anything like it. Russ however, got to take part in this 4 years ago. It was fun to work with new people. The weather was pretty much ideal for the situation. I took my mountain bike and went for a long bike ride. I thought I might not make it back at one point. The wind was hard to bike against.  This was in Wyoming. It is always windy. Russ went fishing and shot his bow. We took an amazing hike and got a rundown on the history of the area. However, we did have to cut this week short because my Uncle Leo passed away and we wanted to attend his funeral in St. George. It really worked out well for my parents because they were already in Utah. Another, of many blessings.
